Itinerary by day:
Arrive at the City of Eternal Spring and Capital of the country, Guatemala City. Upon arrival we will bring you to your deluxe hotel in “Zona 9”, to prepare for the start of our journey.
Arrive to Guatemala.




Explore Ciudad de Guatemala.
After breakfast in the hotel, attend a Sacrament meeting at the nearby LDS church with the local saints of Zone 1. After that, enjoy our guided tour of the most emblematic locations of Ciudad de Guatemala. We will explore downtown, an area filled with historic sightings and beautiful monuments. Visit the Mapa en Relieve, a representation of the terrain of the country, filled with famous mountains and volcanoes. Eat Lunch at El Adobe, a legendary restaurant of indigenous and traditional cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the National Archeology Museum to see well-preserved ancient Mayan relics and a vast collection of jade artifacts. Return to your hotel to rest and dine, or visit the surrounding restaurants.


Journey to Tikal.
Start the day boarding a local flight to Petén. Arrive at the island of Flores, Petén; a small piece of land in the middle of the lake Petén Itzá. After breakfast, we´ll head Tikal, a city that was likely a part of the East Wilderness. Here we will explore the temples, houses, and altars among the virgin jungle, and likely see some animals native to the area. Climb up temple IV, which appeared in the Star Wars Saga. In central Plaza lies “El Gran Jaguar”, the most iconic temple of the park. After lunch at the park, we will return to Flores, to check in to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day on the island surrounded by the beautiful landscape.


Discover Antigua Guatemala.
After boarding at dawn the fly back to Guatemala City, get on a bus to Antigua, we´ll get breakfast on the way there. Upon arrival, get to know the streets and history of beloved Antigua Guatemala, a Worldwide famous Unesco´s Heritage Site, a preserved city with stone streets and colonial style architecture. First pay a visit to the Jade Factory, where you will learn about the famous gemstone and its relevance in mayan mythology. Visit “Convento de las Capuchinas”, reminders of the past architecture and history of the country. Taste the local cuisine, a flavorful trace of the mayan culinary tradition at the “Rincón Típico Restaurant”. Explore the Crafts Market to immerse yourself in the vibrant textile patterns of the country and art. Stay at a cozy hotel and explore the city at suns


Let’s go to Atitlán!
Saying goodbye to Antigua, we will start our journey to Atitlan through the highlands of Guatemala, surrounded by mountains and plantations. We´ll stop at “El Mirador Restaurant” for breakfast before our next stop at Panajachel, the entryway for the proposed Water of Mormon location, Atitlan. Check-in the Hotel before taking lunch in the surroundings. Explore the deck on the shore of the most beautiful lake in the world, surrounded by three volcanoes, in which lays an ancient city covered by water. Next, get to know about the long lost city of Atitlan in Samabaj Museum, its relevance and history. Enjoy the sunset at the shore of Atitlan Lake, immersed in the colorful “Calle Santander” and have some dinner. After returning to the hotel, have a group discussion explaining the evidence that tails this location to the events in the Book of Mormon.


Visit San Pedro & San Juán.
Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. After, we´ll cruise the lake waters in a boat to explore the towns of San Pedro and San Juan, two of the twelve towns that surround the lake. In them we´ll learn about the mayan communities and their different crafts. Learn textile weaving and preparation in San Pedro, visit a Cacao Factory & a local Gallery tour in San Juan. After lunch, we’ll return to Panajachel to end the day exploring and dinning there, before returning to the hotel to rest.


Nature & Faith in Quetzaltenango.
After breakfast, say goodbye to Atitlán! We will take a road trip to “Xela”, the second largest city of the country. Upon arrival, get to know the most colorful church of the area “La Conquistadora” and get to know the biodiversity of the area in “Cerro del Baúl” National Park, surrounded by cloud forest and fauna of the area. At the end of the tour, check-in at a beautiful hotel, and carry on to eat lunch at “Restaurante Tertulianos”, a signature restaurant in an antique house. We will visit the beautiful LDS temple, with precious views of the city, where you could be part of an endowment session. To finish the day, visit the iconic “Cafe Luna”, an old chocolate factory turned cafe & museum, that still uses its original recipe since 1900. After that, return to the hotel to rest.


Zunil & return to Guatemala City
Start the day eating breakfast at the hotel before moving on to visit Zunil & Almolonga, two of the most iconic towns of the city, surrounded of colorful vegetable plantations. Visit the markets and the main landmarks of the town. Heading back to Guatemala City, we´ll stop at Tecpán , visiting a farm for lunch, a classic stop for nationals and foreigners.
After arriving to the city, spend the afternoon visiting Kaminal Juyu, the proposed city of Nephi. Explore its museum, “Museo Miraflores”, where you can learn about the history of the city, as well as multiple vestiges and discovered pieces from the excavation of this site. Kaminal Juyu is considered to be the city of Nephi from 600 B.C to 200 B. C. End the day dining at “Ciudad Cayala“, the white city of lights, before arriving to the final night at the Hotel.
Farewell Guatemala
After breakfast in the hotel, we´ll make our way to the airport and fly back home concluding this faith-strengthening and culture-filled experience.
